We’re preparing for Easter weekend and found this old favorite Foodie in Training recipe. The egg flavor is outstanding! And we show many creative ways to display the “chicks”! What are other favorite dishes that make Easter weekend special?

Inspired by her cousin @TerriWooldridge’s favorite Recipe from the box, Stephanie Millman tried the Mexican Lasagna and her family is CRAZY for it! This is an excellent one-dish meal. How many Foodies have tried this?

Today we scored big on our Foodie journey in France! For lunch, Kelly taught us how to make French Onion Soup (we tried others and all agreed that the flavor was the best ever) AND we finally got a seating at a Michelin Star Restaurant @C’Yusha. The food was so unique, and the wine was exquisite.

The jet lag hit us hard, which made for a late start to find a Creperie to use as inspiration for our next recipe for the Foodie In Training Recipe Club.

We purchased fresh white fish at the open market (Marche des Capucins) on and didn’t want to miss the opportunity to cook this magnificent fish while it was still fresh. We wandered home along the river, pulled out pots and pans, poured some Bordeaux wine and videoed Kelly preparing piccata fish served over pasta and roasted squash.

It’s our first full-day in Bordeaux. We woke up refreshed, had dejuener (lunch) of muscles @BistroPoulette in the open market. Our wanderlust took us through beautiful cobblestone streets and introduced us to some fun, engaging Bordelaises. Bienvenue Foodie Friends! I have been living in Bordeaux for the last three months and Kasey and Stephanie have finally arrived for a visit. I have big plans for their stay, one of which is filming the recipes for the next mailing (French food, of course)!

Kicking off our journey in the luckiest way. Food is love, as we say.
